The three categories are as follows:

• B Corp certified members: Join this category if you are a B Corp certified company.

• Individual members: Join this category if you work for a B Corp company, are a student, professional, or consultant, or if you simply want to contribute, learn, and be part of the B Corp community in Quebec.

• Non-certified organization members: Join this category if you are a company in the process of certification, a company interested in certification, or an organization that wants to show its support (Non-profit, university, college, etc.).

Membership follows a fixed annual cycle. It is valid from April 1 to March 31 each year.

Membership is annual. The option to renew automatically by credit card is available on the form. For now, the fee is due when you become a member and renews one year after the subscription date.

B Local Québec is a non-profit organization and not a charity registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). We are therefore unable to issue official donation receipts.

Yes, the rate remains unchanged. Good news: we offer a three-month grace period. In practical terms, any registration made from January 1 is valid until March 31 of the following year, allowing you to enjoy membership for more than twelve months.

For example: Registration on January 15, 2026 → Membership valid from January 15, 2026 to March 31, 2027.

If you registered some time ago or can no longer find your welcome email, you may no longer have the information to hand.

Write to us at membres@blocalquebec.org and we will be happy to validate your membership type and send you your company's personalized promo code.

Good news: it is entirely possible to switch from one category to another, and we will be really happy to celebrate your certification with you and share it with the community!

If you had a free account, simply re-register in the “B Corp Certified Company” category.

If you had a paid account, please email us at membres@blocalquebec.org before re-registering. We will be happy to credit you for the amount you have already paid as a non-certified company for the current membership period.

In order to fully participate in the community, it is important that your B Corp company account is up to date. Each certified member company has one vote at the annual general meetings, and we want to ensure that the right person can exercise this role.

If there has been a change in your team, please email us at membres@blocalquebec.org and we will be happy to update your profile.

We can also confirm the type of membership you have joined, as well as the promotional code to use when registering for our events (if applicable).

The Communications Committee is responsible for managing the website, LinkedIn account, and newsletters. Write to Communications - B Local Québec to activate your visibility benefits (visibility slots) at any time during your membership period.
